“question the idea”

More on the debate debacle. People think i mind that my position as a top blogger is questioned. I do not. It’s natural for every 6 year old to try to outrun his father. So is the blogosphere. What? He is on top? I can take him, easily!

And after years and years, none of them ever get to the point of even showing in my rear-view mirror. And then the real attack begins. His ideas and blog posts are stupid because…he is a Capricorn. This is considered an argument nowadays by people who want to be on top. Logic or something that resembles judgement is not to be considered.

debate class in Romanian schools

We really need debates in Romanian schools. We need to teach ourselves the art of argumentation. What can be said and what cannot be said. Acceptable arguments and arguments that make us look dumb.

No, i am not talking about the retard that understood from this post that my only life purpose is to buy a car. I am talking about entering the battle of the minds with arguments like “his eyes are weird” (that is true, from my accident the eyes are a little pushed back) and “he is so thin” (always been like that) in order to prove is superior thinking.

I would like some fact-based arguments when we are fighting. Or at least a quiet surrender.

responsibility for our kids

I think the American higher education system is well-thought. With college taxes, i mean. You have two choices to achieve higher learning: either you are good and receive a scholarship, either your parents save some money. We are not equal. Some are born with chances, others have to fight for them. And, if your parents did not consider your future, well, you have to work hard.

The Romanian system is wrong. Because every other dumass gets to go to college and he graduates and we have a construction engineer who doesn’t understand any measurements. Or a marketing gal who’s idea of a marketing pitch is a nice banner. And there are a lot of examples like that, of people who have a degree, but lack everything else. because they do not work hard, because it’s not necessary.

I know it’s harsh, but you don’t succeed being nice.
