ubervu.com spam

UberVU.com is a site started by two guys from Romania. They moved to London and started acting like big shots at Romanian conferences, teaching us the way of the startup.

But the fact is ubervu.com is a spamsite. They claim they follow social media and expect a payment for it, but that is not true. They steal and they spam.

17 million pages indexed in Google and with all my content.

Little lies

“How to Web” is a new conference taking place in Bucharest sometime soon. Looking at the team in charge of the event, i couldn’t help notice some of the little lies.

For example, Raluca Georgescu created “Raluk.ro, one of the most important local entertainment websites”. I never heard of it until yesterday, and i spend a lot of hours online. Why lie? People already know you as a former office manager, lying only attracts attention to you and articles like this one are born.

So, yea, can’t wait!

This is basically what is going on in Romania right now. Nobody knows what to do, so they raised the VAT with 5% (now it’s 24), because this measure will, of course, bring more money to the state budget. But it won’t.

What will do is make us poorer.

I am still amazed that nobody has any solution to this problem, not in Romania, not in Greece, nowhere.

Will we ever learn?

Romania is in the middle of a political and economic crisis. We will get over it, one way or the other, in the next few years.

The problem is: will we learn anything from it? My guess is not. So capitalism fails again.

Healthcare for everyone?

America is debating the healthcare reform just about now. To the best of my knowledge, they do not have any healthcare coverage at all, and they must look into the private sector if the want to be assured. Of course, this is extra.

That is not good.

At the opposite side is Romania. We have coverage for everybody. And i think it’s not fair to benefit from anything if you do not pay taxes. We have 20 million people in Romania, out of which 4 million are paying taxes and 5 million are retired. We also have 0.5 million out of work people. The rest, nobody know. Let’s say other 5 million are supported by the bread earner of the family and other 2 million are children. That means 3 million people are just benefiting the system, without contributing (paying any taxes).

That is not good. That’s the reason Romania has no roads and no progress in any field, because it is too busy paying for the parasites.
