Wow! Time goes by so fast. I remember I picked up Photoshop in 2001, at 5.5 version and struggled with it for about 2 years. Back then there was little information, few tutorials and a couple of forums.
Right now i still use CS version, because it’s perfect for my needs and loads up faster than the new versions.

This is one of the coldest winters in the last 5 years, i think. With temperatures reaching -30°C, snow set in and cars had a really hard time staying steady on some roads. It’s also the first winter I have driven outside the city in the snow. The Megane handled very well, mostly because of the snow tires and the ESP.
I did not use snow tires before. But now i am all for it.

America is debating the healthcare reform just about now. To the best of my knowledge, they do not have any healthcare coverage at all, and they must look into the private sector if the want to be assured. Of course, this is extra.
That is not good.
At the opposite side is Romania. We have coverage for everybody. And i think it’s not fair to benefit from anything if you do not pay taxes. We have 20 million people in Romania, out of which 4 million are paying taxes and 5 million are retired. We also have 0.5 million out of work people. The rest, nobody know. Let’s say other 5 million are supported by the bread earner of the family and other 2 million are children. That means 3 million people are just benefiting the system, without contributing (paying any taxes).
That is not good. That’s the reason Romania has no roads and no progress in any field, because it is too busy paying for the parasites.

He single-handed exposed the weak tech journalism. Using his twitter account, Mr.. Calacanis started posting fake and easy guess-able Apple iPad specs, ours ago before the official announcement. Some journalists believe him and posted “the news” on their sites. Of course, now they feel dumb, and I agree with Loren they should be, if they believe it.

W3 Total Cache is a good plugin.
My main blog has quite a bit of traffic, so a cache solution is required. I’ve used HyperCache for a while, because it had better results than Wp-SuperCache. A few days ago I stumbled on to W3TC. I didn’t give it much chance at first, but after a few minor tweaks, it turned out to be a much better solution.
I love the Minify part. And i started using a CDN for the images and css, which really takes the load off the main server:
Last Day Data Trans: 11.83 GB
Last Day Total Hits: 535,404
I know blogging is fun, but fun can turn into a small business and must be greased up from time to time in order to run smoothly.
